LDV Blog
Our 8th annual LDV Vision Summit was the best summit to date! Thanks to the virtual setting, our community tuned in from all over the world and we discussed computer vision, computational imaging, machine learning and AI in healthcare, web3, climate, space, and so much more.
In these turbulent times, we are pleased to have a chance to connect with brilliant entrepreneurs, technologists, investors, executives, and creatives who are as passionate about visual tech as we are at LDV.
On March 23 at our 8th Annual LDV Vision Summit, Evan Nisselson, General Partner at LDV, will speak with Dr. Jepsen, the founder and CEO of OpenWater – a startup working on novel imaging systems that leverage lasers as well as optoelectronic & holographic systems to see deep into the body and brain with the detail of a high-resolution 3D camera. They will discuss how to make moonshots into moon landings & other stories in deep tech entrepreneurship.
In the lead-up to the Summit, Evan had the privilege of asking Dr. Jepsen a few questions.
Our next guest in the Women Leading Visual Tech series is Gaile Gordon, a co-founder of TYZX, acquired by Intel.LDV Capital’s Abigail Hunter-Syed spoke with Gaile about her career in deep tech.
More and more visual sensors are being leveraged in the commercial and home markets. From energy and real-time data management in smart commercial buildings, to home video security and monitoring our babies when they sleep. How will they empower businesses and humanity?
