We are very excited to partner with the fantastic deep tech team at ResiQuant that is developing a platform that utilizes agentic AI and computer vision to transform data into actionable, building-level insights. This empowers property owners and carriers to mitigate vulnerabilities, streamline workflows and enhance underwriting decisions.
We at LDV Capital led their $4M seed round with participation from Foothill Ventures, Pear VC, Alumni Ventures and angels.
As the biotech industry heavily relies on data filtering, analysis, and sharing, visual technologies play a critical role in detecting and imaging biological systems. This paves the way for the future of life sciences tools, enabling next-generation therapeutics, biomanufacturing, and longevity. At our 10th Annual LDV Vision Summit earlier this year, a panel of experts delved into these topics and explored various critical aspects shaping the future of biotechnology. Check out their insights.
We at LDV Capital celebrated our 10th LDV Vision Summit Anniversary! People from over 30 countries were part of our premier global gathering in visual tech & AI. We were thrilled to welcome speakers from Sequoia Capital, Wellville, Generate:Biomedicines, DCVC Bio, Princeton University, Stanford University, University of California, Nobias Therapeutics, Snap, Future Ventures, Meta, Axios and more. Can AI create visual metaphors for creative ads? Can it understand the contextual meaning behind them? Is it the future of content creation?
We are honored to have Dr. Lydia Chilton, an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Columbia University, in our Women Leading Visual Tech series. Lydia leads the research about the creative design process from a computational standpoint. She builds AI tools that enhance people’s productivity.
Our 2017 Annual LDV Vision Summit was an absolutely amazing event, thanks to all of you brilliant people.
"My second time attending the LDV Vision Summit was even better than the first. A great mix of accomplished technical people and energetic young entrepreneurs." Dave Touretzky, Research Professor, Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
Pete Warden went from computer vision studies at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in the United Kingdom to serial entrepreneur. After spending 3 years as co-founder and CTO, he sold Jetpac to Google. In this keynote, he shared insights about what he was working on at Google, stories about being an entrepreneur, and how analyzing images can improve the world.
